High-speed steels are distinguished by their resistance and ability to maintain hardness and heat resistance properties at operating temperatures of around 600°C. Their characteristics, resulting from the presence of carbon and other alloying elements such as vanadium, tungsten, molybdenum, chromium, and cobalt, make them suitable for the production of cutting tools, cold sheet metal deformation, blanking, and plastic material transformation.
